TODD SAMOVITZ
Todd was born in Detroit but bred in Los Angeles before returning to the University of Michigan for his undergraduate years. While at Michigan, Todd did more drawing than writing – his artwork appeared in The Michigan Daily, The Michigan Ensian and other various student publications, t-shirts and party mugs. After graduating Michigan with a degree in history, Todd returned to Los Angeles to attend law school. The screenwriting bug bit while Todd was a practicing entertainment attorney. After putting the practice of law on hold and after years of working many odd jobs while he pursued a screenwriting career, Todd earned his first produced credit on WONDERLAND, the Lionsgate feature based on his original screenplay about the 1981 Wonderland Avenue murders. More film, television and comic book/graphic novel writing assignments followed with Warner Bros., Klasky Csupo Productions, ABC, USA, Sci Fi Channel, Lifetime, Image Comics and Studio G Comics.
